This is first West's backstory, then a continuation of the rpg. I hope you enjoy it.
The light autumn breeze whistled across the land, swaying the trees, and gently picking their leaves of crimson, orange, and brown off one by one. The sun had almost completely set, sending the surrounding area into a state of twilight, where everything was bathed in a deep crimson-gold light. A young boy, no more than 5 years of age, came racing across the grassy plains, carrying with him a small paper bag. A rapid crunching sound alerted his presence as he sprinted towards an enormous white marble-encased village off on the horizon, with towers that reached towards the sky. Upon reaching the front gate many minutes later, the boy hid the bag behind a peculiar bush; it was just beginning to bloom. After the deed was done, the boy continued to walk through the gates, and began trapsing around the village in search of someone until the rich golden light of the twilight slowly transformed into the shadowy, lifeless grey of dusk; but to no avail. Exasperated with the task and weary from walking, he had reluctantly decided to give up his search, just as a brain wave struck him. The youth charged out of the village on this sudden whim, making sure to pick up his package behind the bloomed bush on the way out.
Following the path of leafy carnage he had taken the opposite direction hours ago, the boy made his way back across the plains, and entered the ominous mouth of the eerie woods which stood as a natural boundary, thousands of miles thick, from all neighboring life [which dare not come to the village, anyway]. Once his figure was enclosed by the mighty oaks of the forest, he slowed his pace, knowing no one would be able to see; or follow, him through the dense trees which were masked by the notoriously black, starless sky of the early autumn night [nor would they be entering the woods, and completely sane at the same time, either].
Ok, that's all for now. Comments? Criticism? Ideas? Hit me with them. And don't worry, nothing regarding the plot was actually supposed to happen there, just a bit of an introduction.
